The Low-Income Housing Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) offered through Community Action Agency of Siouxland may be able to help you. This program is funded through the Iowa Department of Human Rights and has been established to help qualified low-income Iowa homeowners and renters pay for a portion of their primary heating costs.
Community Action Agency of Siouxland will be taking applications from November 1 through April 30. Eligibility for participation is established according to the federal income guidelines as shown in the table below. Applicants eligible for an award will be paid on a first come, first served basis and all payments are subject to availability funds.
Please provide the following for proof of household income for last 30 days:
