CAAS 2009 SENIOR EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM

Provides employment training opportunities for eligible low-income citizens aged 55 or over. Income eligibility is based on 125% of current Federal Poverty Guidelines. Operates in Woodbury, Plymouth, Lyon, Ida, Cherokee, Buena Vista and Sioux Counties.

The Senior Community Service Employment Program helps older workers build the experience and confidence they need to find permanent employment.

Senior Community Service Employment Program participants serve their communities while gaining valuable on-the-job training through paid temporary assignments with local non-profit and government organizations including:
